Teacher

Wildower schools are very small -- typically one- to two-classrooms. We are committed to equity, and unite intentionally diverse communities of children, families and teachers in a shared pursuit of interconnectedness, justice and peace. Wildower schools are Montessori schools with certied teachers who embrace the qualities of authentic Montessori education - mixed ages, the full complement of materials for each age group, and a child-led, individualized approach within a beautiful, peaceful environment. Your Qualications ● Experience with young children; Montessori education experience is preferred ● Must have EEC qualication for preschool teaching ● Have a strong understanding of child development and support growth through independence ● A desire to grow and learn in a collaborative, supportive, creative and fun environment ● Foreign language skills are a plus

Assistant Teacher

As an assistant teacher, you will work in a team of 2 to 3 teachers and in conjunction with school teacher leaders. You will be a critical member of our school community reinforcing Montessori’s philosophy of whole child education. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ● Supporting the children with all aspects of the daily routine ● Assist in providing for the welfare, safety and educational achievement of the children ● Help plan and implement enrichment activities such as arts projects, music and movement, nature exploration, etc ● Potential to assume teaching responsibilities based on experience and qualications Your Qualications ● Experience with young children; Montessori education experience is a plus ● Must have or intend to pursue EEC qualication for preschool teaching ● Have a strong understanding of child development and support growth through independence ● A desire to grow and learn in a collaborative, supportive, creative and fun environment ● Foreign language skills are a plus

Intern/Volunteer

As an Intern or volulnteer, you will be working under supervision of a classroom teacher. You are welcome to observe and learn in this posistion. Our teaching team will be as supportive as we can to help you reach your learning goal. In return, you are expected to contribute with your ideas, observations and suggestions to help better our program.
